Inquedanzas

About the exhibition.

Understood as << the desire to know new things or a special interest in an activity >>, restlessness is closely linked to creative processes of any kind, establishing itself in them as a driving force of inspiration. On the other hand, restlessness is also defined as <<the state of those who are restless >>, a state that permeates today’s society and which Peri Helio incorporates in his work in a subtle way.

The galician artist takes advantage of this double meaning of the term Inquedanzas for this, his first exhibition in Portugal, in which the desire to get to know a new artistic reality and to show it his work on paper is also the driving force behind this collaboration with BECUH.

In the same way as he did last year with the mural created for the Porto City Council in Rúa Restauraçao, in Inquedanzas Peri Helio invites us to look at new realities and to enter into his personal universe through this exhibition. On this occasion, he will combine his works on paper with the intervention on the walls of BECUH, which can be visited on 22, 23 and 24 September 2017.
