In May of this year 2023 I was painting the new offices of Recados Carmen in Vigo.
Although the space was difficult to photograph, in the images you can see one of the areas in which I intervened. The idea was to bring light and spaciousness to a rather gloomy corridor area, with not very high ceilings, which generated a feeling of being in a tunnel. To solve the assignment I focused on the column – the main element in the room – as a generator of space to then work with a few colors – mainly yellow, blue and green – but with great luminosity.
The result is this soft-looking mural, which brings tranquility and calmness in addition to the light and spaciousness sought, in which a series of small surreal-looking beings bring a cheerful and carefree touch to the whole.
