This edition, A Detail Of Summer, was produced in the workshops of the CIEC Foundation in collaboration with the Entretintas engraving workshop in 2024.

This illuminated engraving is based on a work entitled Spring, Summer, Autumn, originally created as a sketch for a mural that Peri Helio was to paint in a nursery school in northern Italy. In the end, that project did not go ahead and, years later, Peri decided to use part of that work for this collaboration with Entretintas.

A Detail Of Summer, as its title suggests, is a small detail from the area of the work that depicts summer with some of the plants and animals typical of this time of year. Of course, in this representation, Peri Helio brings a very personal vision of summer and its inhabitants, which he reinterprets and adapts to his personal imagination, thus showing us summer from his own perspective.
