Aviary Scene transports us to a surreal landscape in which imaginary birds with unlikely heads gather around a series of constructions of various kinds that help to generate in the viewer a disconnection from the real world.
This illustration is based on the idea that, in the absence of human activity, empty spaces are recovered by different animal species. Thus, in Aviary Scene the birds are the protagonists of the composition. They are usually the first to reconquer and adapt to the abandoned structures, as was seen in the spring of 2020.
Throughout those months, during which this work was carried out, the birds were the protagonists of areas traditionally occupied by humans. On those days, their songs filled completely empty spaces with life.
